GCSE and A Level Results Day

GCSE & A Level Results Days

When do GCSE results come out?

GCSE and A Level results are published around the same time every year and this year the results dates are as follows:

A-level results come out on Thursday 16th August 2018

GCSE results come out on Thursday 23rd August 2018

What happens on exam results day?

You can attend college as follows:

A-level results on Thursday 16th August 2018

Please attend between 9:30am – 12:30pm

GCSE results on Thursday 23rd August 2018

Please attend between 9:30am – 11:30am

You need to report to Reception and will be directed to the Examination Results collection area.  You will then have to sign in to confirm receipt of your envelope.

You can wait to open your envelope but we suggest you open it as soon as possible to check your results and that the details, e.g. the spelling of your name, etc. are correct.  If they are not you can immediately see the Examinations Officer who will be able to help you and contact the Awarding Body to request immediate changes.

What happens if I do not get the results I wanted?

If your results are not what you expected, you are bound to be disappointed – but there are plenty of options.  Talk to a member of staff regarding your options whether it is attending to university, applying for an apprenticeship, going through UCAS Clearing, or even re-sitting, we will be happy to help.

Successful future

We hope that you do gain the grades you need to get into the next educational establishment of your choice or career goal.  Whatever you do, we wish you every success in your future aspirations!

See you on Results Day!
