To be accepted on the two-year fast track A Level or BTEC programme students must have at least 5 GCSE’s graded 5-9 or equivalent qualifications. For A Levels This must include a grade 6 or above in the subject you plan to study.
The A-Level Physics Course aims to develop your understanding of how science contributes to the success of a society. You will learn about different areas of Physics and how they relate to each other. You will also gain skills, knowledge and understanding of how science works which will prepare you for further study.

Physics is an essential qualification for degree courses in Engineering, Astronomy and other related subjects. The study of Physics develops skills which are transferable to any course which requires analytical thinking – for example, law, medicine and dentistry.
