To be accepted on the two-year fast track A Level or BTEC programme students must have at least 5 GCSE’s graded 5-9 or equivalent qualifications. For A Levels This must include a grade 6 or above in the subject you plan to study.
The GCSE Mathematics course offers students another chance to obtain a GCSE Grade C or higher qualification in Mathematics that is widely required by employers and an essential part of the matriculation requirements for higher education. As the main focus of this course is to allow pupils to achieve a C Grade its content will primarily be D and C grade mathematics. There will be an expectation that all students will carry out a considerable amount of work at home through set homework tasks and general revision.

This qualification can lead to study at A level, L3 BTEC and eventually university in fields such as science, pure maths, economics and engineering.
The skills learnt in Maths are also very transferable to a host of related areas of study and employment.
