Tech City Student wins Young Writers Award

 

Luthyano Ferracini was recently entered for the Young Writers Award competition for his piece he wrote outlining his experience of the recent American election campaign. Each year the Young Writers Creative writing competition provide youngsters an opportunity to show their creativity and talents in bringing their thoughts to life on paper. This year they received in excess of 18,000 entries nationwide, of which Luthyano’s piece, The Red Box will be published in a book called ‘Welcome to Wonderland,’

Luthyano was praised for his expressions of imagination, perception and use of language and creativity. The competition was organised with schools all over the country, where the writers were encouraged to enjoy creative writing with the added challenge of creating a fictional piece of just 100 words!
